Sholom Uvrocho, im trying to unlock a tlc flip 2 (T408DL) KEFS , with hardware version 03 which seems to have a KosherTek filter on it. I have sent my imei to my carrier and have received the 2 unlock codes but when i put them in after typing #tfunlock# it says the codes are invalid. Is this because its using KEFS? I think i saw someone write on this forum that there is an easy way to unlock it if it uses KEKA? If I flash KEKA would it then be possible to unlock? And is it shayach to kasher easily after flashing KEKA? any help would be much appreciated
I think the answer is that your phone is KEKA which gets unlocked automatically.
The filter company flashed a older software which disables the auto unlock option.
But there arent any codes for your phone.
Check under battery if it says KEKA.
I had this issue, and came out like this, it should be documented somewhere here.

i have 2 seperate kefs phones that were tagged in lakewood, both eligible for unlocking per the tracfone unlock portal, but after putting in all the info, it says it will email me the unlock codes. that email never comes. anyone know what to do?
hi thank you for the answer, I am not in possession of the phone now so I can’t check underneath the battery but is there any way to unlock this device, perhaps by flashing a filtered KEKA ROM?

You gotta speak to the company that filtered it. Their the only ones that can help you.
Call the unlocking department 18884425102
Ask them to read the codes to you.

I was able to unlock a purifone filtered TCL Flip 2 T408DL with the unlock codes I got from Tracfones phone unlocking website
this didnt work. i called in, the codes they provided didnt work. there was an error code when entering them. tried flipping the order of the codes as well. the rep didnt understand why it wasnt working and said they would put in an escalation.
so is this a tag (puriphone) related issue?
