I had a sonim xp5s for a while right arrow button stopped working, got another one same thing ended up happening let me know how good this one turns out to be.
Don’t know what the story with your phones are, but the sonim’s are great phones, including the xp5’s.

Does the phone have a touch screen?
I’m almost sure that it doesn’t.
Do any of the Sonim’s come locked to a specific service?
I think all do but you could find unlocked ones except this one because it is so new so nobody unlocked it
The Verizon ones are not locked. But it looks like the T-mobile ones do come locked…
I thought the verizon ones are locked to verizon but you could get it unlocked now because they have been out for so long i don’t know i have verizon with the verizon xp3800 which works perfect i also have the sprint version but that one doesn’t work with my verizon service so not sure what is locke and what isn’t
