Was on my bucket list to port it to another YT Music client.
Yeah… The app is very different now
I tried it, saw what you did, definitely a lot better for small screens than before, but it’s still a very simple app, very few features.
I tried every yt music app on F-Droid, just about every one is way more feature rich, and many are a lot more d-pad and small screen friendly to begin with, even before you start tinkering with it to optimize it for d-pad.
Name one? I’m really considering a change - but only if it includes an algorithm… Or proxy based.
All look the same… (lol, by now I’m thinking that 24six is based off some of those…), but can you tell me the best one in your opinion? That works with dpad?
I fogot which one it was, in middle of trying to find it.

Made for Android TV, so it’s d-pad compatible.
Needs some adjustments to work well on small screens, but it’s already pretty good (I think, was a while since I tested).

I hear. I do like piped more than innertube - since it can bypass VPNs… but it’s too much work to do it just because of that. Give me more reasons and you’ll persuade me…
although has d-pad ‘friendly’ metrolist is a better UI just my personal opinion

It does have video but @TripleU managed to get it on zemer either way
But with a filter you are not getting an algorithm… Not possible… (except like “your favorites or something”)
