If you create it with the software it will include your drivers. Depending on your PC, it’ll probably work with standard anyway in my experience.

Doesn’t mean you won’t have a SINGLE issue, but it should be solid. If it’s not the same hardware, you’ll have to reinstall drivers anyway

To be clear, you need a second drive obviously, of same or bigger size
When you first boot update all drivers from windows update and hopefully everything will be fine.
Beauty of it is, it’s a backup. Nothing to be nervous about

If you really want to have “fun” you can create an installable Windows iso that you can boot into on any PC (with installation). I have a weird method.

Backup wim, and replace it in a mounted Windows iso, repack, and voila

May be unpopular opinion, but why make a clone?
Start with a clean windows (bypass Microsoft account obviously), see which software is really need it and reinstall through Winget or Chocolaty. And then mount the old hard drive and copy the user files and folders.
No need to clog up a new PC with old junk…

If you see someone that is doing something wrong, then don’t help him continue the mistake, rather guide him to the correct path…
All jokes aside @TripleU check if you really need to clone all of your files/software on the new computer.
You have a lot to gain by starting from fresh, and not much to lose.
It may also help that if you need to test a software, then install it in windows sandbox test.
