If the script in boot is what is enabling app installation, couldn’t you just use a standard rooted boot image after all apps are installed? Wouldn’t that disable installation but keep root?

Definitely easier than editing services.jar
Though I was using this yesterday, pretty great:

Not that I can help you with either option, I just wanted your question to be a bit clearer for those reading.
The short answer if you say “I don’t really know these things” is, No it’s not simple to accomplish what you want.

There was a thread somewhere about a new kosher phone, came in a flip and bar version, the flip version looked like a Cat S22 with upgraded specs.
Anyone know what I’m talking about?
