# How to Mod a Firebase APK to gain access to the database

Not sure where to start here
I have a firebase APK app that I want to modify to give my self full front and backend app access how can that be done
Is there a specific category for it, if yes please share the link

Are you trying to hack it or what š ? Maybe i misunderstood what your asking? Get whoever currently controls the firebase to give you accessā¦

Thanks, but I need to know what a āfirebase APK appā means - is it an apk that displays the firebase website? It is a custom frontend that uses firebase backend? I need to know about the app itself, not its backstory.

Sorry not sure why I only saw this now
Im not sure my self Iāll need to verify this but I think its a APK that displays the firebase site as you can also use the site as well as the app, does this make sense, what other details do you need

Assuming its just a webview, then the apk isnt your problem, its access to their firebase. Let me ask you this: are you able to log into their database from the website, on a computer?
P.S. if they made their own frontend, I cant help you get yourself in, (and no one should help him either) because that seems like something the management should be doing for you

If he is trying to hack it then please do not help
Please ask your org management for their database credentials and if they donāt want to give it to you we canāt help you here on JTech
