It wasn’t working for me to block iab when i tried blocking webview it didn’t stay on

Added a restriction to disable unknown source apps is highly appreciated
(And the reason is so ppl can disable play store with accessibility and select auto update so the apps will be updated automatically, but wouldn’t be able to install apk files

I have eGate on the Cat S22 Flip and I believe I have the setting on to block WebView. I downloaded Outlook today and I was able to get onto the IAB.

Do I have to manually do something after each download in order for it to block WebView or it should automatically be added to the block list?

Every time you log into the filter, the block webview control option automatically turns off
you have to make sure to turn it back on

Turns out @anon97982153 was right and the WebView block setting was turned off. With the setting turned on both Waze and Outlook’s IAB’s don’t work.

When sighing in to Gmail I get a popup on my Cat asking to confirm it’s me signing in. This screen crashes when the WebView setting is turned on. Does anyone know the package name of this screen so I can add it to exceptions?

Turn on the debug filter option to see what’s crashing

It’s not supposed to do that. That is a bug I will have to look into.

I am looking to disable to Google app without effecting android auto. I have enabled the accessibility filter, and added the google search box the the list, however the app doesnt open right away, but starts opening the next day again. I heard it also is supposed to disappear which it is not doing. How do I do it?
